Touchscreen gloves

With touchscreen friendly winter gloves, the key requirement is for conductivity that will allow the naturally occurring electric charge in your finger to pass through the glove to the screen.

Some have achieved this by immersing a glove in a conductive solution or simply by implanting a blob of metal.

Neither of these methods seemed to line up with our way of doing of things so we went out and found thread coated in pure silver and hand embroidered little stars onto the thumbs and forefingers of our touch screen friendly winter gloves.

Why silver? Decadence? No. Silver is an excellent conductor - the best in existence. Why hand embroidered? Because only hand embroidery will position the little stars with sufficient accuracy.

The right fit

Sizing your gloves

To ascertain your glove size, pass a tape measure around the widest part of your hand - usually over your knuckles, excluding the thumb. The result, in inches, is your glove size - e.g. if circumference measures 7 inches, you are a glove size 7. If you are between two sizes, round down to the lower of the two.

Of course, there are times when you might not know the glove size, perhaps if you are buying our gloves as a gift. In that case, we would recommend a size 7, because this is the average size, and is likely to fit most people. If your glove doesn't fit perfectly, we are more than happy to exchange it - just contact us. Special size requirements are always available on request.
