Electra is a glove for those occasions when you need your hands and rings and manicure to be on display. It’s the little things that make the difference and this glove is a wisp of fabric that will add allure, charm and mystery to your look. A full, Opera length sleeve that leaves the fingers exposed. All held in place with a cunning loop around the middle finger and highlighted by a button in your choice of crystal or covered. (PS - also perfect for Brides).

Opera Length. This glove is 16 inches long, measured from where the thumb meets the wrist, to the opening of the glove.
Care guide
We make our gloves in hand sizes from 6 to 8½. To find your glove size, pass a tape measure around the widest part of your hand - usually over your knuckles, excluding the thumb. The result, in inches, is your glove size. If you are between two sizes, round down to the lower.

How do I guess someone's glove size?
If you are buying gloves for someone and don't know their glove size (and don't want to ruin the surprise), their height can indicate their most likely glove size. Please note, this is statistically most likely but won't be correct 100% of the time.

How fast will my gloves arrive?
Most of our gloves are made ‘to order’ but we work swiftly. Our ‘time to make’ ranges from one to three days, depending on how busy the atelier is. If your order is time critical, we offer a "rush" priority service - you can select this at checkout. Please see checkout options for an accurate total (glovemaking + shipping) delivery time.
Can I return/exchange?
Yes - there is a 60 day window for you to consider your purchase. Gloves returned with in a saleable condition will be eligible for a refund, exchange or store credit. Please see our return policy for more information.
Will they fit?
Yes - they will fit like a glove ought to fit, but please take care when providing accurate sizing information. For guidance on this, please refer to our measuring guide. Please take care with the sizing info and, if you have any doubts or concerns, do not hesitate to get in touch. We are here to help and we really want your gloves to fit perfectly.
Can I have a personal message included?
Yes - we send a handwritten note with every order. This will be an option during the checkout process. Just let us know if you want to say something special!

How can I tell if the glove will match my outfit/work with my dress?
We strongly recommend that you book a video stylist consultation. Just like our gloves, each appointment is bespoke to you. It’s free - no charge, no pressure - and fun. You’ll be asked to let us know of any specific requests ahead of your consultation and maybe share a link or an image of the dress, and then we can walk you through the options. We also offer complimentary material swatches. We charge for shipping the swatches but this charge is instantly reimbursed to you as store credit, which can be used against your order.
Can I order a bespoke length?

Can I order a bespoke colour?

Can I wear my engagement/wedding ring over my gloves?
Gloves made from Tulle or Silk can be fine enough for rings to slip over.
Where are the gloves made?
All our fabric gloves are made right here in our atelier in Sussex, England. Our leather gloves are made by our partners in Naples, Italy.
Do you have a shop?
No - but you are welcome to visit us in Sussex. Be sure to call first. We are about 90 minutes by car from London. Alternatively, if you are visiting the UK and short of time, we can usually deliver to your hotel/UK address 'next day'.

Tulle Swatch
If you unsure which colour or fabric will best work with your outfit, we recommend ordering fabric swatches. Our swatches are 4 inches x 6 inches. The amount you pay (including shipping) is reimbursed to you straightaway as store credit, which can be used against any future orders you place with us. If you prefer a colour which we don't have as standard, we do offer a bespoke dyeing service - please contact us.
Our glovemaking
The hub of our glovemaking operation is a small, flint walled building that was built some 150 years ago to house dairy cows. All around us are pastures. A mile to the south, the green hills of the South Downs separate us from the salt seas of the English Channel.
It takes a lot to make a good pair of gloves. Great fabrics, selected with great care from mills large and small, skill and people with a passion for making things just right.
Almost everything we make is made to order. So that the person who is making your gloves knows exactly what you want in terms of glove size, style and dimensions. They will also know your name and you will know theirs because, when they’ve finished your gloves and they’re completely happy with them, they will sign the tag to say so.
